Drummond, Davis, Rivers Headline Tisdale Watch List

Andre Drummond, Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers headline this year's group of players on the Tisdale Watch List, which is an award given to the top freshman player.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marquis Teague, teammates of Davis on Kentucky, are also on the list.

Rounding out the list are Bradley Beal, Florida; Chane Behanan, Louisville; Khem Birch, Pittsburgh; Andre Drummond, Connecticut; Le'Bryan Nash, Oklahoma State; Adonis Thomas, Memphis; Josiah Turner, Arizona; and Cody Zeller, Indiana.

Hoosiers Self-Report Violation In Recruitment Of Harris

Indiana has self-reported a secondary NCAA rules violation involving the recruitment of Gary Harris by Tom Crean, according to multiple sources.

In a statement released Tuesday, the school said, "Coach Crean immediately reported an inadvertent recruiting contact violation to our compliance office, and we are following our normal procedures."

Harris, a 6-foot-4 guard ranked the No. 10 prospect nationally by ESPNU, is considering the Hoosiers along with Kentucky, Purdue and Michigan State, among others.

Mo Creek Out For Year With Torn Achilles

Mo Creek is expected to miss the 11-12 season due to a torn Achilles, according to sources.

Creek, Indiana's junior guard, suffered a "freak injury that occurred away from the court" and that "Creek wasn't doing anything wrong," according to a source.

"This is a devastating blow for someone who has worked so hard to get himself in a position to help this program again," Indiana coach Tom Crean said in a statement.

Gary Harris Scores Two Touchdowns

Purdue head coach Matt Painter was in attendance on Friday to see Gary Harris score two touchdowns for Hamilton Southeastern.

Harris scored on a 28-yard reverse and then caught a 29-yard touchdown pass.

Harris, one of the top-20 basketball prospects nationally in the Class of 2012, made his official visit to Purdue last weekend. He will visit Indiana next weekend, followed by Kentucky (Oct. 22) and Michigan State (Nov. 5) before making a decision.
